ASWAS

Dialysis is extremely expensive and many people cannot afford the continuous, sometimes life-long expense of dialysis. With the Aswas scheme, Don Bosco Hospital tries to reach out to as many renal failure patients as possible. Aswas which means consolation is a free dialysis scheme launched by the Hospital to reach the deserving patients to ensure that no kidney patient will perish because of the lack of funds for dialysis. Nearly 1000 free dialysis have been completed within two years.

Santhwanam

Don Bosco Hospital has launched a noble and charitable initiative called "Santhwanam" to provide free dialysis treatment to eligible patients. The scheme operates by receiving public contributions and donations from staff members and individuals with kind hearts. Thanks to the generosity of these donors, the hospital has already provided many patients with free dialysis treatment, helping them to manage their medical conditions and improve their quality of life.

Jeeva

There are great many around us writhing in pain and dejection to whom a compassionate look or a loving touch is denied off. This is where Don Bosco Hospital comes into with its palliative home care project “JEEVA” to be a solace to them. The functional area is 18-20 surrounding coastal villages whose majority of the population wrestle through to make both ends meet and we have 20 such patients today from these villages. As per our objectives we reach them free treatment to the door. If needed we get them admitted, impart practical training to the next of kin and special care to those with deadly disease. All this is possible because we have with us a dedicated team of Health Care professionals and social workers addressing their physical emotional spiritual and social concerns. We Celebrated our silver jubilee; as Prarthana Foundation joining their hands with us towards this sublime care in being a Good Samaritan.
